Rain that tastes like hurt... sometimes all interaction hurts - everything around us that reminds us that we do have feelings, that we can feel and we can't shut everything out, anything touching us can hurt us.
Touching does hurt. Sometimes painful enough you must regroup in your private place. Then there are the times when the hurt is a good kind of I'm alive and human hurt, like a good tired.
I'm stunned, in a good way. I slowed down because it seems as if no one was reading my poetry. My haiku to come. What a generous offer, Clarity. Creating a chapbook of haiga is a dream of mine. You will be the first person I contact.
Ooo! I like "rain that tastes like hurt."
ReplyDeleteDear Karen,

Dear Marie,
ReplyDeleteSoft and stunning imagery as always. If you ever compile a book, may I provide the photographs?
Adore what you do and wish you would drop more pearls, more often.
